Monogrammed Appliances
It seems that appliances are as ubiquitous as walls. Every house has
them, and must have them to really be called a home, at least in
these modern days of ours. These products have given modern living a
heightened feel of both comfort and luxury that is desired by many
people. However, when purchasing any form of electric product, it is
important to go with a company that is known to have a reliable
quality, a standard which GE is known for.
One of GE's hottest selling brands of home appliances is the
Monogram appliances line. This is one of the top selling lines of
appliances as they are designed to be energy efficient, above all
else. Monogram appliances were the result of an energy and water
conservation agreement with environmental groups, a garment cleaning
group, numerous local utilities companies throughout the United
States, and certain state governments, along with other
manufacturers of home appliances.
This agreement is in keeping with U.S. Department of Energy
standards of clothes washing energy-saving guidelines, due to the
dangerous state of energy consumption in a world of quickly
dwindling energy and water supplies. Some of the standards included
are reflected in this appliance line's use of only 7 gallons of
water per wash, and a $52 average cost for refrigerator/freezer
combinations, per year, along with a non-CFC producing refrigerant,
to limit global warming "hothouse" gasses.
Some of the Monogram appliances include not only refrigerators and
washing machines, but also range hoods, wine chillers, dishwashers,
and stovetop ranges.
The Monogram appliances line of cooking ranges come in both gas and
electric models with a ventilation system for each model. These
venting systems include the mounting options of wall-mount,
island-mount, and downdraft. For the wall oven models, there is the
option of a single or double size. In addition, microwave ovens and
warming drawers are also available.
The Refrigeration systems include both refrigerator-freezers and
other cooling appliances. The refrigerators have side-to-side double
doors, with freezers on the bottom. The other cooling appliances not
previously mentioned include double drawer refrigerators and bar
refrigerators.
Other appliances include dishwashers, trash compactors, and outdoor
barbeque cooking stations with portable carts. With many appliances
there are custom options and accessories that can be purchased
additionally.
